Hello! I’m Heidi!

I’ve loved writing and storytelling for as long as I can remember. As a child, I often wrote and illustrated picture books and told stories to my family. Now, I write MG and YA Christian fiction, along with the occasional short story, poem, or faith-based article. I strive to write in such a way to encourage and challenge readers, but most importantly, to draw them closer to Christ.

When I’m not busy crafting stories, you can often find me curled up with a book. I love books and everything literary, so if you ever want to geek out about books, I’d be happy to listen (or join you in geeking out).

I also love music! I’ve played the flute for 10+ years, and I sometimes dabble with the piccolo, piano, or ukulele. If I’m not playing music, I’m probably listening to music — most likely folk, indie, or worship music.
